USSR invaded and the Taliban fought them. Fighting US proxy war, you think the US would support a country that have every 9th person to a foreign nations interests. Did not happen.. taliban turned extremist on the us and their own nation. It’s very angering, now they just abandoned the place, again for selfish reasons.
