I never got it. People say he’s a genius and I cannot for one second see why. He just seemed like a whacked out actor who did some random shit that people thought was groundbreaking. Feel like I’m on the twilight zone where I’m the only one that doesn’t see the thing.

He was a troll. Either you were in on the joke or you were the joke. Most people were not in on the joke even at the time. Often, he was the only one in on the joke. Sometimes there was no joke, which was the joke.

I grew up watching Taxi and I loved him on there. I didn't really get his stand up, it just seemed odd - but it probably was over my head.
