I experienced this same situation recently, and I never was able to get a clear answer even after talking with someone.
I would wait til next week to file because if you file this Sunday you will have to report that you earned wages from your employer this week and it will break everything, or at least it did for me.
I was let go on a tuesday, opened my claim on a Wednesday and filed my first weekly claim that Sunday. In the claim it asks if you earned any wages that week, and because I worked Monday and part of Tuesday I answered yes and submitted. The first week is a "waiting week" that you don't get paid for so I wasn't anticipating anything. Then when I went to file the next week it said my claim was under review. I was still able to file every week but it kept saying it was under review. After leaving a few voicemails someone finally called me back and they manually moved it out of review and I got all my back pay.
As for the weekly job search requirements, in my experience no one will ever ask about it or will you ever have to show proof. Just make sure you have registered in the job search portal.

Where were you able to see that your claim was under review? Also how did you get to where you can leave voicemails? I just got a busy signal

I believe it says it right after you submit your weekly. Normally it says "you should expect to receive payment this week" also I think there is a weekly certification history page where you can see the status of all of your filings.
You need to get past the busy signal and get onto the hold system and there should be an option to get a call back.
Your best bet is to find your local state rep and call, or better yet visit, their office. They have internal help line numbers and can get a resolution much quicker.
