I was at a vintage shop, and found this metal badge (which appears to be from some type of vehicle or machine) that was the perfect size to cover up an open cavity on the back of my guitar. Was curious about the origin, so I sent a pic to my dad, who's from NJ, and he suggested it could have some connection to the Bucks and Montgomery County in PA. I noticed there's a Bux-Mont transportation in PA, who have been around for over 70 years, which could date this badge. Figured I'd ask you good folks! Thanks, and love from Boston!

Edit: The vintage shop was in Downtown Manhattan. I know Manhattan isn't exactly next door to this area, but it's closer than other parts of the country, which could lead me to believe this is a PA-related item!

Yes is the short answer. I'm not certain of the story but there's either a high school, or sports division, named like that. Certainly familiar to this Montco resident.

Yes I live in the Bux-Mont area! Many companies around that use “bux-Mont” as an abbreviation of sorts!
