DelGrosso’s has good food, and it’s cheap! Lakemont’s also nearby, and worth a visit as it has the oldest coaster in the world, Leap the Dips.

They closed down lakemont a few years back. I have yet to know if they reopened since

It’s open, but with fewer rides. Basically just Skyliner, Leap the Dips, Little Leaper, Go-Karts, and a few other small things.

They didn't close they were changing it, removing some rides adding stuff like Mini Golf and Batting cages and more green space. Rollercoasters still there. They still do Lights On The Lake for Christmas.
Probably for the best, from what I remember when was last there 10 years ago it was not in a good state and I doubt it got any better til they finally commited to updating it.

Yeah I fell out of touch after Covid. I’ve actually been to that part of Altoona maybe once or twice last year.
