The media isn’t hateful, they’re appealing to the tribal part of the brain to stir up hate and get more views/ad money etc. which may be worse that just genuinely being hateful, because at least then you’re honest.

I think people may have thought you were implying this fit the negative stereotype that black men disproportionately commit more sexual assaults than any other demographic. Doesn't say the man's race in the article, so it could be anyone. What's important is that this 14-year girls gets justice
