I’m a Republican that voted for Josh Shapiro. Mastriano was easily one of the worst candidates I’ve seen on the PAGOP ticket in recent memory. The guy didn’t do any big time interviews, stuck strictly to Newsmax and AM conservative talk show radio stations. He had zero ideas on how to help PA other than crime. Nothing original other than tireless MAGA talking points. He will 100% lose if he becomes nominee without hesitancy.

Yup I was in the same boat as you…the party is catering to central PA and doesn’t care anymore about the moderate metropolis Republican

A vast majority of those we’re probably straight republican voters, no thought or consideration, just vote red because red.

In PA our elections are decided by a razor’s edge

“I got 42% in Pennsylvania” translates to “I pissed off so much of my own party that they voted for the other guy”

Trump won in 2016 in Pennsylvania by a margin of 44,292 votes

Thank you for casting an informed vote regardless of party affiliation. I think it takes a bit of personal courage to do so.

Now, I did vote for Oz because I like his platform over Fetterman, and Reddit usually doesn’t like that comment.

Doesn't like, being "tough on crime" just mean increasing police budget though?

The majority of crime is created by poverty, so the solution obviously is to hire more government goons with guns to beat them up and put them in cages.
