"I take extra measures to make myself look like a runner and make sure nothing arouses any suspicion," said Oduor, 42, who lives in the majority-White city of Lenexa and started running six years ago after he was diagnosed with prediabetes.

"I avoid residential areas and use main roads. I panic if a car is following too closely during my runs. I make sure my phone is fully charged and I can hit record anytime."

This is the kind of violence you are excusing and perpetuating. If you think black joggers should have to think like this to avoid people like John Fetterman you are part of the problem.

You are equating the death of Arbery with the Fetterman incident? One resulted in a death. Your dismissal of the death of a black jogger is really telling. For most of us non-psychopaths, the death of a black jogger is a tragedy…..for you it seems to be nothing more than an inaccurate data point. Gross

They are very similar incidents because they both involved racists, black joggers zero provocation or initial crime, and guns.

As I clearly said earlier, thank God Fetterman didn't pull the trigger. That makes it a very different incident but it's also important we hold Fetterman accountable, at least until he apologizes and makes amends and says what he did was wrong.
