Being former Air Force you might have picked the worst example to justify your argument. The F-22 went way above budget because it kept breaking.

I mean, I could've picked the KC-46, but that just seems unfair.

But yeah, the Raptor's got it's problems — but none are because it's built cheap to begin with.
