I'm 20 miles west and trying to figure out how you had snow on the ground. It was 60 here today.

It's a black and white photo. What you are seeing is the light hitting the fallen leaves on the ground. Not sure why my original comment got downcoted for pointing out the truth.

Are you seeing a different picture? I see no snow in this picture. I think your eyes are playing tricks on you.
