Now Uxbridge is considered Western MA, and it has a more consistent weather. You'll experience more snow and cold compared to the regions on the coast.
Why would you move to RI when you have plenty of affordable towns where your work in MA ?
And again to reiterate my point, Do Fucking Not mention Maryland Clam Chowder.

Gun laws, the compactness of the state, and demographics are the big 3 reasons I picked RI(well the west side of Prov specifically) over anywhere in MA. A lot of the towns near Ux were too small population-wise for my liking.
I’m not too much of a seafood person being that my family are largely rural southerners from NC/SC, so no worries here on the chowder.

I'd seriously consider the tax implications of living in one state and working in another.
Wherever you are in MA, especially from your work, you are like 30!mins to Worcester, 1 hour from Providence and maybe 1.5 hour from Boston.

Oh it's definitely something I will consider next year when my lease is up, I just really wanted to give Providence a try after enjoying my visits there.

Uxbridge is central Mass, not Western Mass.
