I dunno about mental illness, but it seems some heavy users are experiencing what is being called cannabis hyperemesis syndrome. Symptoms include constant vomiting for days.

This condition is extremely rare and is easily cured just by stopping use.

It happens when you stop smoking, but why read the article when you can assume

Directly from the article you "read" Mr. PHD
"Is there a cannabis hyperemesis syndrome cure? The only known treatment to permanently get rid of CHS is to stop cannabis use completely"

After weathering the aftermath Mr. Not knowing is half the fun (aka the CCRI motto)

Article says 6% of patients that went to emergency for vomiting were diagnosed with CHS.

Seems enough people are getting ill to warrant some warnings?

CHS is heavily over-diagnosed.

I have CVS and was told that I had CHS for months upon months until my PCP took a deeper look into everything, such as the nuances of my symptoms and time line.

Yeah, 6% initially, but I'd be interested to see how many of those diagnoses were amended.

It is all pretty new because of widespread use through legalization.

I am interested in the data as well.

Not sure why this might trigger people though.
