I'm trying to find out if the Newport ferry is still a thing. The website says that the Newport ferry schedule will be released in 2023, which, last time I checked, we are in 2023. There's a schedule for Pt. Judith, and they're rates for the Newport ferry, but you can only buy tickets from pt. Judith. Does anyone have more info on this? Thanks

They normally start service after Memorial Day and end service after Labor Day, it's a fast ferry as well, I think they only go a few times daily. Not sure what their running times are

It’ll start on June 24. Newport to Block Island departs at 9:10 and noon. Block Island to Newport departs 10:30 & 5.

Honestly, I’m not sure. Might have been the combination of COVID, demand, and other factors.

If your in or around Providence you can take the high speed to Newport and them take the Block Island ferry to the Block. Seems long time wise but no hassles and if it's a nice day it's a nice way to go.
