That’s a problem they should fix.

At the bottom is says

Contains: Wheat, Flour, Egg, Soy, Milk

Which means it definitely contains those ingredients.

Then below that it says it may contain traces of tree nuts, walnuts and coconuts which to my knowledge typically means that it’s just manufactured in the same building or close to products that do contain those items.

From having worked in the restaurant industry for years, I know people take that inherent risk all the time, but to actually have nuts in an item that doesn’t list it in the ingredients is dangerous.

EXACTLY! This is my 21st year as a server and I understand allergies. But usually "bananas only" means no nuts in the bread. I'm assuming that it was mislabeled. I got it because last time there were too many nuts in it, so I wanted to try it without the nuts.

Guaranteed the employee typed the wrong PLU# into the scale when they were portioning it out. They probably have one for each type.

Lol, sorry! not blaming you, OP ❤️

But I have celiac and I see "Bananas Only" Bread and I get excited!

It's been like 15 years since I've had banana bread. I would love some. I could practically taste it. Only to take a closer look and see a block of ingredients so long I wouldn't have touched it even pre-Celiac.

And my partner could def be fooled into buying it for me if he were in a hurry 😣

No worries. It also did have nuts in it, so anyone who have a nut allergy would have been hurting.
