So my dad worked in central falls for years at GTE. He would bring home calzones from someplace in providence. He can’t remember where lol. He said he knows where it is but only by driving there. He said it’s near the Firehouse (bar). He said an old man was the owner and he was sick a while ago and isn’t sure if he is still around

He would bring home Italian and ham and cheese calzones. You would get two/ 4 in a pizza box

Thanks

Sounds familiar. The place basically revolutionized Italian fast casual dining. They only used low fat ingredients. It was a portable delicious meal that is it’s own container. Pretty sure it was called The Low-Cal Calzone Zone.
