Yeah the owners of Lucky Dog bought Village Haven. I was initially skeptical given what VH is known for. Honestly, the food is equal to, and in some cases better, than the original (family style and cinnamon rolls are still bomb). They also spruced up the interior. Nothing against the OG owners but it felt like some of the walls/furniture hadn’t been updated since the place first opened. My family went last Christmas and they handled it like pros. Lucky Dog is on my list of places to try too.

Sounds familiar. The place basically revolutionized Italian fast casual dining. They only used low fat ingredients. It was a portable delicious meal that is it’s own container. Pretty sure it was called The Low-Cal Calzone Zone.

Reddit can be a good resource for advice/potential opportunities. Don't shoot the kid down just because your Reddit resume was rejected.

The RI Beer Club meets twice a month at various breweries throughout the state. I've only been a couple times but it's a solid outing.
