Come check out Newport!
Mmmm nothing like a tasty delicious Rhode Island wiener 😵💫
Ummm oh wait what were we talking about?
Yes and eat them near a toilet
Late May? See a CVS for allergy meds

Drive to Boston instead
We are staying in providence for 2 days and cape cod for 3 days lol
You might have missed the point Skippy
I’ve been to providence many times but that was only the airport to go to cape cod. I’ve been to Boston and went to Fenway Park to watch the Red Sox. I was mostly interested in Providence because I wanted to move there eventually and practice as a nurse.
Lots of great restaurants! You can see if there is a show playing at the Providence Performing Arts center. I also love the Providence comedy connection. Freeplay acrade is a fun 21+ arcade that's open at night-time with mostly retro games, all set to freeplay. Roger Williams Park is nice to walk around, any there is a zoo. There are some nice bike paths you can walk or ride a bike on (east bay bike path). Amazing coffee roasters (New Harvest, borealis, Bolt, We Roast). Go to the RISD art museum.
These are my personal favorite activities to do in providence and the surrounding area.
Eat all the good food! My favorite place to tell people about is Palos. After you eat , walk down the water to burn off all the calories:)
Try Knead Donuts, Veggie Fun (vegan chinese food) and Plant City!
Some good suggestions. Additionally you should check to see if there is a WaterFire that days that you will be here. The website doesn’t have their 2023 schedule listed yet, but they had some lightings in May of 2022. There is also a lot of other info about visiting Providence on their site. Here is a link: https://waterfire.org/plan-your-visit/
Definitely try Gracie’s
Definitely visit the RISD museum. Also walk on the East Bay bikepath. A walk around Brown campus and Thayer St. can be fun. I also second the side trip to Newport and/or the Green Animals estate in Portsmouth. Blithewald in Bristol is gorgeous in the spring as well - and, they do an afternoon tea - be sure to make a reservation if you're doing this.
Chomp for good fried chicken sandwiches, Knead for donuts (better than PVD in my opinion), plenty of breweries to explore if you like beer. Newport is fun if you want to see a bunch of old mansions and eat some good seafood. Narragansett/Charlestown are 35-45 minutes away for even better seafood and less crowded than Newport(if you’re coming in warmer months). If you do come to Narragansett, the sea wall is beautiful and Coast Guard House is worth the price because the food is delicious and the view is amazing. Narragansett lighthouse and Fisherman’s Memorial are great scenic spots.
Colt State Park and the historic district if you’re heading to Bristol.
Ah yeah I guess this wouldn't be assumed by outsiders; good call
Head on over to the Dark Lady and order some gaggers, I'm sure the patrons will be more than happy to help.
Brown U. graduation and alumni reunions are Memorial Day weekend so don’t go near College Hill if you are here then. It’s madness.
🤣🤣🤣 So I have… ummm… heard!
Make sure you ask for it "all the way" too, while you're at it.
You’re going to have a great time!
Have fun on the Cape, it’ll be busy but not crazy.
Is that the new place in Hope Village?
You have to go to Newport. It’s what sold me when I moved here.
Check out Federal Hill(little Italy) Thayer st(college area) a lot of mom & pop businesses all around the state in Pawtucket, Cranston, Johnston, Providence, Woonsocket
Turn around
Please don’t send them to woonsocket
I just snarfed Diet Coke 🤣
Swan Point is one of the most beautiful spots in the state, if you like graveyards.
If you were only in the airport, you were never in Providence.
You were in Warwick.

Definitely get some hot wieners while you are here. Order them “all the way”.
