This isn't a shower thought, it's a pun. And an unoriginal one at that.

How’s that a pun and I just thought of it

The pun is on the word attractive because you are applying the two different meanings of it
spekter299 t1_j9vhtpf wrote
It actually means the same thing in both cases, just the object of the attraction changes. Whether you're attracting attention or mass, you're still attracting.
curiouscabbage69 t1_j9vjhyd wrote
No, being attractive has two different meanings

Attraction is more of a chemistry thing than a physics thing.

Attraction certainly makes me get physical
PoopIsAlwaysSunny t1_j9wbji9 wrote
Nope. Muscle is denser than fat. So the more muscular you get the more attractive you are, which is generally true
BakulaSelleck92 t1_j9wdvx6 wrote
Maybe electromagnetic attraction, but he's clearly talking about gravitational attraction, which is physics.

I’m pretty sure they were making a joke about chemistry and how it applies to the romantic attraction between humans
RealBowsHaveRecurves t1_j9wjj2q wrote
But if you start full of muscle, and then add fat, you are still becoming more massive
It’s really just that as you gain weight, you become more attractive
phantasmate t1_j9wk885 wrote
I mean, back in ancient times, having some fat meant you were wealthy enough to get fat, thereby making you attractive.
BarryZZZ t1_j9wkvwz wrote
True, but I doubt that there is any sort of gravitational porn; not gonna do a search.

In olden times obesity was a sign of affluence because you got to have money to get that fat. Now they change the food and "poor people food" makes you fat.
PrimusFucks t1_j9wy7kn wrote
It's all about mass, and you dont reach 400+ pounds by lifting weights

Not entirely true, in some Asian cultures the bigger you are the more attractive you are as being fat represents wealth, this might be slowly disappearing but it's a thing
