No, cus he written as a good guy. He even saved the brother from them ghosts. He also broke and threw away the elder stick. Though I don't know why magic can't fix a stick.
The least realistic thing is why they don't have some kind of phone spell or mobile phone.
Snape dying, here potter, my usb drive that contains my diary.

Gotta read the books, muggle electrical items don't work in the Wizarding world, he used the Elder wand to fix his original wand that got broken then returned the Elder wand with Dumbledore so when he dies the power of the wand dies with him, the Elder wand was created by Death himself so it would be incredibly hard to repair if at all.
Also they were Dementors not ghosts.

I just prefer my broken vocabulary.
Jokes aside, why no communication spell?

There are various ones like when Sirius talks to Harry through the fireplace fire, also Owls, magical mirrors, and patronus charms can be enchanted with messages.

It's only weird to us in modern day that there isn't a common, easy spell/item that everyone uses because today everyone has cell phones. But the books are at in the 90s. The communication systems they use are pretty similar to communication systems back then (letters, calling people at home, pagers, and a few people having mobile phones)
