Poisoned myself with tuna, learned the limits of how it decays still eat tuna without worry but it definitely was the most vile thing I've ever ate and it smelt fine before I bit it

Oh wow this sounds actually kind of scary, I eat tuna as well sometimes. What was off about the tuna? This reads like it felt/looked/tasted etc just the right amount of deceivingly ordinary lol

Adhd, I miscalculated how long it sat in front of me before I put it in the fridge, it spoiled in front of me, I fridged it and bit into it the next day (it was tuna mayo onion salt and pepper mixed topped with cheese and pressed in a toasted sandwich maker between bread slices) thankfully I didn't reheat it else that poor microwave would've been a goner haha.... ah. As to your question the smell was faint, like it smelled less than what premade tuna stored in the fridge over night normally does, but the faint smell was different but not bad, like it didn't smell rotten eggs nowhere near that bad. the look was fine, the texture was the same as any, but the taste... unique as hell it was horrible and instantly the most punguently vile thing to ever cross into my mouth. I've never ate anything as horrible the only thing that even comes close is the smell of rotten moldy oranges... never tasted a rotten moldy orange but the taste of the tuna relates well to the smell of the rotten moldy oranges. Safe to say you're safe if you eat the tuna within an hour or two of uncanning it and if you had adhd don't trust your internal clock not to fail you. Surprisingly the taste was so unreasonably different I still love tuna.
