This is true about everything that people can enter and exit, not just hospitals or even buildings.

Several times as many people are born in a hospital as die in a hospital, you are incorrect. The majority of people leave a hospital more times than they enter one.

this ignores the cast number of accidents where a person dies in the field or maybe even en route to a hospital.
if you died in a car accident and the ambulance brings your body in to the hospital, you didn't die in the hospital.

Every time you enter a hospital, you will eventually leave it. Either on your own volition or in a body bag, so being born and dying don't really mean much here. Also, I believe more people die outside a hospital than inside, just sayin.
