Shave your cat and see how well it does. That would be the naked equivalent, we don't have a multi layer coat

See, the point is that fur isn’t clothes, it’s part of the body. So shaving the cat would essentially be cheating to get certain results

The cat’s fur in this case does the same thing a thick coat would do for us. Contain the heat that the living creature produces naturally. I guess the point I was trying to make is that if we didn’t naturally produce heat but still needed it to survive we’d have to rely on man-made solutions
