Humans don't either. That's just I'm video games. While making precision shots you generally just control your breathing and fire on the exhale. Then when shooting normally you really don't need to do anything with your breath tbh.

You’re supposed to fire during your natural respiratory pause in between breaths. You don’t hold your breath, this isn’t call of duty lol

They're not. They just occasional get orders like "Allow them to escape so that we can track them." Anyone who seriously believes that probably fell asleep during the opening crawl of A New Hope.

That said, Disney has gone pretty damn hard on that joke.
