I’ve shown units in this complex many times for both rent and for sale, and besides the old elevators and tiny gym, I found it to be a great complex. Parking, common patio area and a short walk to downtown are what make ideal IMO.

I unfortunately don’t know anything about the super but hopefully others can comment

I recently moved from there and my advice is STAY AWAY!!!

The super isn't as bad as I think the reviews say but, that being said my old roommates had several negative interactions with him. The worst was yelling/screaming at each other and the smaller annoyances were passive aggressive notes on doors.

I had 2 pretty terrible experiences while living there. One is the landlord related the other is the construction of the building. The landlord basically refused to fix anything, including flooding damage due to construction in the unit above mine. Shit seems to break A LOT. On that note, it's a roll of the dice of whether or not you'll have hot water. There's 1 large boiler for the entire complex. The second thing and this was the real reason why I moved is that the insulation is god awful!!! Before the electricity hike of 2023, my winter electricity bill for a 570sq ft unit was almost $500 a month.

If I were you, I would pass.

I should also add that it takes forever to get anything fixed. Last year the garage door broke on the lower level and it took like 6 months to get it fixed. Leaving peoples cars unsecured. There also seems to be lots of leaks everywhere. Cars get dripped on in the garages, puddles don't drain if your parking outside the garage, and the parking area in general smells really bad. The neighbors are also pretty bad about cleanliness. I had a dog that would find KFC like chicken bones all the time outside the doors and parking area.
