The news is only posted so Nintendo can boost their image and in turn sell more products especially in this looming recession. Its just good PR which in turn does pretty much 0 for most of humanity

If we normalize raising pay as PR strategy that would be excellent. To see companies view this as a viable response to a recession is absolutely uplifting news.
