When I was a kid we learned all about Monarchs in class. It was a big deal, closely associated with notions of Texan-ness. Texas Republicans are betraying Texas, and I'm so happy that milkweed is getting protections.

Is anyone else old enough to remember when uplifting vs awful wasn’t that closely connected with partisan politics? I agree with most of these memes but it makes me sad.

Hermflower, perhaps. Many plants are kind of hermaphroditic in that they have both male and female parts in the same flower.
