In the US, there’s a big legal services gap. There are numerous, low value cases, like evictions or other landlord tenant issues, that aren’t profitable for private attorneys but have a potentially large impact on the parties involved. Most legal aid organizations, assuming an area even has one, are underfunded and overworked

So many times you're in a situation where you're on the legal right but enforcement is out of your reach due to the cost not meeting the benefit of just being screwed over.
