I hope during Ukraines transition to a Western country that they take the good values from the West politically but they otherwise keep what they have which is an extreme sense of compassion and strong community cohesion. It's inspiring, I wish we had more of that where I'm at.

I'm sure that traveling there would be difficult and expensive for many of us who frequent this sub. My way of helping has been to contribute a bit each month to one of the charities mentioned in this sub by the moderators. Even if you can only afford to give a few dollars, it helps people.
