There was green alligators and long-necked geese

Some humpty-back camels and some chimpanzees

I can’t tell a lie, it’s against my religion

The loveliest of all was the Black-Naped Pheasant-Pigeon

I know. I saw the article on BBC news and the researchers were saying this could help us make sure it doesn't go extinct - they've been doing alright with everyone thinking they were for th last 140 years, maybe try leaving them alone and certainly don't alert the whole world (I know it is for their funding, but that makes it worse to me and shows they really don't care)

As a percussionist I can only hear TUU TAH, TINNN because this monkey is hitting the low and high congas with drumsticks and not hitting the cymbal from the edge. Still a cool gif.

It looks pretty cool! I wish the pidgeons here were a bit more colorful. It would make the streets seem a whole lot less gloomy.

Soooooo....I think it's safe to say the Dodo is likely around somewhere that we simply aren't paying attention to.

Rediscover.

Evolution is a lot, lot slower than you seem to think.

Genuinely, how does this positively impact anyone aside from these scientists? Even ecologically, why does it matter?

I think finding a species of animal that was thought to never be seen again is pretty cool. Im glad this species wasn't permanently erased from the world.

It's uplifting to know some animals that were thought extinct are being found VS constantly seeing news about how animals are endangered
