One of the many good things about credit unions is that you can use the ATM's of other credit unions as well, with no fees, and that includes deposits.

I opened my BECU account years ago because they conveniently had a branch at the Safeway a mile down the road. Sadly that branch closed a month or two later, and I don't spend a lot of time out in the Hawks Prairie area where the closest physical branch remains. So if I ever need to make a deposit, I just go to another nearby credit union (WSECU) and use their ATM. Never had any sort of issues doing so.

Thanks. Used to live in Marysville where they had like 3 nearby branches. Now I'm 70 miles away and really didn't care about opening a new account.

I checked and there's a WSECU in Centralia/Chehalis. Much closer. Looks like the credit unions here aren't partnered with BECU which is a thing I read. I can still use them for anything without fees but no deposit.

I bank with WSECU and there's no branch in my town but they have 2 other credit unions in town that are part of the Shared Branch so I use those.

You can deposit cash through the ATM at BECU

Oh my bad wrong one. I haven't checked WSECU yet but since I'm driving up that way later I'm stopping there to try.

Credit unions down here like Red Canoe won't let me I mean.

Do you know if their ATMs are open 24 hours?

Yes. Other tip about BECU & cash; if you need to pull cash out you can call their customer service number and they can immediately increase your withdrawl limit to whatever you need (within reason) . As long as you don't run out the atm, it's actually a way more convenient way of dealing with cash than most traditional banks.
