La Conner has a food bank:

In my experience (though it's been some years), food banks usually have some pet food. If not, they probably have tuna or canned chicken.

Or try dumpster diving behind a Petco.

I'm sorry I don't have more to offer you but costco sells a huge 20lb bag of catfood for like 14 dollars, for future reference i guess

You’re in LaConner? Do you have gas to get to a drop off spot?

If there's an active NextDoor community in the area seriously post on there, here in Clark County I've seen my neighbors rally to help each other especially with pet supplies. I keep extra cat food, toys, and supplies like beds and litter boxes in my garage since the onset of the pandemic to help my neighbors when they post and I know I am not the only one.

I lost my cat last year.

I have nothing to do today and I'm kinda local (Bellingham) dm me a place to meet you and what brand of cat food you need. I'll buy you a smaller size bag of dry food and bring it to you.

Try ‘buy nothing’ Facebook groups, you can do an ‘in search of’ post for things you need

I'm 28 F living nearby. I could come drop some stuff off tomorrow if you want! Any preferences? Wet food, dry food? Is there anything else you are in need of that I could see if I have? For yourself or your kitty ☺️

Seeing all the offerings for help warms my cold dead heart! You folks are amazing!

OP, hang in there. Here’s to hoping things turn around for you in 2023 & remember to pay it forward when you have the chance.
