Leominster state forest is great. Town farm hill in barre is one of my other favorites. Mass central rail trail doesn’t have much for actual mountain biking but it’s good for distance as well as the prison camps which are connected to it. Download Trailforks and it will show you the best spots.

Rutland by Whitehall pond, they connect to the rail trail a bit past Rutland state park. Very cool little road/trail network
