Pepe’s in Tatnuck Square! Although it doesn’t come with lettuce and i haven’t actually tried the ground beef 😬 but they make them once you get there (for takeout) so just ask for lettuce!! The chicken is wicked good!!

I third El Patron. The queso is out of this world. And they double down on the dairy and put shredded cheese too.

I have to agree and lend a fourth.

Personally, I like Mexican fine enough-A few times a year and I'm good.

But my SO could have it 21 meals a week (originally from TX).

So we've been to El Patron a little bit. And I have to attest that the queso is friggin GOOD.

Is it still the giant pile of round shitty boring chips with a pile of shit thrown on top like a blender made it. The quality and taste of their nachos has always been awful. I’m a nacho person and man these are the worst… I stopped ordering them after being disappointed every single time for years. The pile of chips without any topping underneath is the worst.

Couple of easy options -

  1. Chipotle chips and queso are decent and readily avaiilable
  2. Home made option can be tried with Mi nina chips

If I had 1000 updoots for this magnificent description, you'd have them all.

Had a plate of nachos at Table 12 in W. boylston last weekend and they were really good. No queso though, but a very generous amount of ground beef, jalapeños, lettuce, etc.

If you take her to Pepe's, get the Churros and ask for dipping sauce. They're warm and delicious.

Of course, eat the nachos first. Congratulations on the baby!

Honestly, Moe’s on Stafford St has some really good nachos, especially with the specialty queso on top.
