Cats shouldn’t be outdoors anyways. And the coyote population controls the deer population which controls the tick population which controls tick-borne illnesses.
I’ll take that over some yuppie who can’t take care of their own pets complaining when wild animals behave like wild animals in the wild.

Coyote have no natural predators in Massachusetts and haven’t for at least a century. That means a disproportionate effect on the deer population and other problems that come from them being more habituated in residential settings.

Your link only talks about nuisance ones existing - that’s not necessarily an issue of predation but of human encroachment. It says nothing to your assertion of overwhelmingly harmful effects on the deer population.

It looks like you shared an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of concerns over privacy and the Open Web.
Maybe check out the canonical page instead: https://www.wcvb.com/article/nahant-massachusetts-teams-with-wildlife-officials-to-shoot-kill-nuisance-coyotes/42190999
