This is not unlike a bar being a "NY Giants bar." Other sports fan are welcome but you should understand that we cheer for Giants here and giants fans do not have to feel uncomfortable coming here. Pats fans are welcome and almost every other bar you would walk into caters to the Pats fans anyway so it's not a big deal that they don't get to dominate this one bar.

I understand why you would say what you said but try to think of this from the perspective of someone who hasn't historically felt welcome or invited in those mainstream establishments that most clientele feel comfortable at.
