"I know, A106 is 'outside' , you better hurry up so 'it' won't escape..."

Hearing what i wanted, i quickly hurried to the command room. Running through the corridors i once knew so we'll, that were filled with chatting people now empty, all i heard were muffled screams of people hiding inside the safehouse. I kicked the door tho the command room, seeing the empty and resigned faces of my coworkers.

"P-professor, why are you here?!"

"We still need to locate Subject A106..."

"Please Professor escaped we will take ca-"

I cut them of with a shout

"Head my command, Subject A106, escaped outside, so in accordance to our government agreement... we will commence emergency protocol E.X.I.T"

"B-but Professor, do you truly want to go through with it?!"

The question my authority, probably even my sanity but it our only option in order to prevent the worst...

"Profesor do you want to destroy all the reasearch, and what of the Subjects here, do you feel nothing about their demise?!"

"Silence you fool, those creatures can't see the light of day again, we need to protect humanity from the horrors here..."

The all feel silent, not knowing what to do next

"Now, i command you to escape to safehouse while i fire of the protocol."

"B-but Professor"

"Silence! It's my responsibility as the head of this facility"

Seeing my determination the all silently wnet running towards the safehouse... After few minutes i pushed the protocol button, took on warm and heavy coat, open the door and go out into the frozen wilderness. Alerts kept balling in the background as freezing winds hit my face...

"A106 , Look at me!"

I shouted, and then i saw it... Subject A106 did not look human anymore, i even doubted it was ever human to begin with... Formless, Shapeless... Not even a word monster could describe it

"Attention, commencing protocol E.X.I.T"

The sirens blared in the back ground as a kneels looking a the creature before me, while listening to it's echoy screams

"A-a-a, it's all over now, you are completed but i will not let you leave..."

Those were my last words...

"Protocol E.X.I.T starting in 3... 2... 1"
