Lol I love the signs claiming it will cause gentrification in front of multi-million dollar homes. As if you can gentrify a city where a mediocre 3 bedroom house is 900k.

You simply love to see it. A place this close to DC really shouldn’t have SF mansions at all. Leverage the metro, build up!

Good. I can expand my property if I want, increasing the value, amount of housing in the county, and my own wealth.

Why fake it?

I rent a 1958 rambler for $$$ in N Arlington. All my neighbors in their McMansions are losing their minds and I’m trying to fake being sympathetic. Every last one has the yellow sign in our court

This is a good thing, the rent is too damn high as it is

I don't blame the kid, there's alot of hot girls walking around ballston with their dogs and wearing tight jeans or yoga pants. Its like they don't expect to be harassed on....

...? Are you saying right-on-red is FREEDOM? Did you really just say that traffic laws are socialist and this is 'MURICA? Do you think speed limits and traffic lights are relics of communism too? And why exactly would you think someone is from Europe because they point out that right on red is dangerous?

Of course. Because you are most likely not from here.
For your education, America was built on personal freedoms, not people telling us constantly what we can't do. If you want that, go to Europe.

That. Only in socialist DC metro. Not a part of America, obviously.

Hunan Village - family restaurant (meaning authentic) and they are very nice. Food is great I’ve been there so many times, was amazing when celebrating Chinese new year!!

TNR is good, but you need to know what to order: personally a fan of their fish with black bean sauce, dry fried eggplant, among others. There are some good local places depending on what you're looking for: Peter Chang for Szechuan, Hong Kong Pearl for dim sum, Peking Gourmet for Peking duck.
That said, the best Chinese food regionally is up in Rockville.

Peter Chang, Mala Tang, Bostan, and TNR are the best imo, in more or less that order, but it also depends dish by dish. All are solid and won’t disappoint imo. Haven’t been anywhere else for Chinese I would go back too. Peter Chang lunch special is a super good deal also.

Ah yes, we must preserve Arlington’s un-gentrified purity - dual-income defense contractor households, 20 something feds, and working class POC in dedicated affordable housing are notoriously susceptible to displacement.
I’m sure Little Saigon’s erasure was because we built too MUCH housing around here and not too little in the face of the metro area’s consistent growth and expansion.
