My first ever dog. Got him during the height of COVID.

Beagles are the best, my first dog was a beagle too.

What was his/her name?

Skunky. He got sprayed by a skunk as a puppy and the smell never went away, he was given to my father free of charge as a puppy because of this. He smelled like a skunk until the day he died.

Oh wow. Did you get a dog again after?

Oh yes, I’ve had many since than. Skunky died in 2005 or so. I only have cats at the moment but have had a few dogs since than.

I had a beagle once..She got sick and we had to put her down..one of the best and worst experiences was having and losing a dog that became a family member. Slept at the foot of our bed every night.. Picture of yours brought back memories of my tink. Sorry to be a downer.

Sorry for your loss. I live on my own, so he really helped with the sense of loneliness.
