If you want a laugh...put on boots. It's hilarious at first. My dog, too, adjusted fairly quickly. I put them on inside and let him get used to them before going out. Once he'd figured out how great it was to have warm feet while he peed in negative temps, he practically gave me his feet to put them on. I found Muttluks stayed on the best.
