I am sorry if he is slowing down or suffering slip ups. 14 is pretty old for a bigger dog, is it not? Sounds like he’s pretty healthy, though? I read an article about osteoarthritis in cats. Is it possible that your boy might have the same? If you notice him with more accidents, I would suggest bringing him in to his vet to find out what’s up.

He gets regular vet check ups, he’s still pretty healthy. His sight and hearing are starting to go, so it’s a lot easier to sneak up on him haha, but he still has the energy of a puppy, he could play for hours if I let him. I gotta be careful because he is getting older and I don’t want him to over exert himself!

I was going to ask about his eyes but they look good, no milkiness. But yeah, eyes and ears going? Definitely can explain him slipping. Poor fellow. But I’m sure he still enjoys his fun sessions of play with you, even if you need to go easier. He does sound like he’s in good shape. 😻😻😻
