Yes, it’s a safe walk. You can walk along the water which is what the person mentioning Pier 5 was suggesting. You’re staying in a great location with fantastic water views and walks.

Outside your hotel is the brick walkway that runs along the harbor. You can literally walk on that path and see different parts of Baltimore. One direction takes you to Fells Point and Canton. The other direction takes you to the Inner Harbor and around Rash Field to Harbor Point. They’re all nice walks and safe. The water taxi is also right outside your hotel for a way to see the city from the water.

For drinks consider Bygone at the Four Seasons Hotel right by your hotel. It’s on the top floor with great views.

You’re staying in Harbor East with lots of nice shops and restaurants. Little Italy is close by for Italian food and Vaccaros Italian Pastry for great desserts and gelato. Fells Point is walkable along the harbor.

Great jazz at Keystone Korner if you’re in town for more than one night.

You’re set for a great weekend!

Omg! That’s awesome! And Rams Head Live is a great venue. Not large with solid acoustics.

Just noting that you’re not getting many comments about places to drink between Rams Head Live and Harbor East where you’re staying bc there’s not really any pubs/bars/cafes/restaurants between these two points. It will make more sense once you’re here.

Good places by the Power Plant where Rams Head is and in Harbor East but not between them.

Also scooters are a good way to get around if you want a faster and same scenic views to get to and from Ram Head Live.
