Rather go to the Charles or the senator

Because the place hasn’t opened yet, so you can’t make a fair comparison. It’s like saying you like the food better at another place than a restaurant you haven’t eaten at yet.

The decor confuses and frightens me, but I'm sure I'll go occasionally. When it was a Landmark, they ran a lot of movies that the Charles didn't pick up and if the Senator did, were never on the big screen.

Baltimore needs more movie theaters, arguably at least as much as it needs more show spaces.

Always love seeing the far left dictate what should exist in their utopian view of Baltimore rather than what is a realistic economic venture. You should consult for businesses looking to die a slow death in this city.

They’re not closing down the senator or the Charles because this is opening. Plus it’ll be nice to have more than 3 movie theaters in the city (parkway, Charles, Senator idk if I’m forgetting one) especially one that’ll show a wider variety of films and have more modern theaters/screens. Not to mention there’s not a single movie theater accessible to the east side of the city if you don’t have a car.

With the loss of Landmark and Cinebistro, this is a good thing.

Not a fan of Hatbor East but cannot deny the many good memories I have going to see major movies at this theater when it was Landmark.

I also love seeing someone infer another persons political leaning by... check notes.. a comment about the different movie theaters in town.

How vapid is your life to have made politics your identity like this.

Don't think so. As far as I know, it's Flagship Cinemas. ^[source]

> The seven-screen, 26,000-square-foot theater space will be renamed Harbor East Cinemas, the movie theater's landlord, Harbor East Management Group, announced on Monday. Flagship Premium Cinemas, a Boston-based company with five theaters in Maryland, will be the cinema's new operator.

I have had great experience with Flagship in other areas, so I'm stoked they're opening a crazy fancy-looking one in Harbor East. I'm definitely gonna go check it out.
