I'm a guy in my mid 20s and looking to meet new people and possibly get back on the dating scene. Federal Hill. Went to Mother's on Sunday during the ravens game for the first time, absolutely loved it. It was packed but I'm okay with that because it just means more people to talk to. Everyone was nice.

I'm looking for a similar vibe and place to go to on Friday and Saturday nights. I'm not into clubs and dancing, I moreso want to hang out and talk to people so a large bar is what I'm looking for. Don't really care about happy hours and discount drinks, just interested in busy bars with lots of people my age to talk to.

Just walk around Fed Hill and check out the scene. There's probably a dozen'ish places that fit the bill that are basically next to each other. There's always something going on every Friday and Saturday night, except around holidays.

Yeah I’m in Fed too. I think for crowded bars, definitely Mothers during games, Nobles too. If you are into trivia - CrossBar and Delia Foleys have decent crowds, might have to ask to get on a team but doubt it would be hard. For chiller bars, Pub Dog and Magerks normally have friendly people mulling about.

Any bar on Cross Street. One Star gives off the vibe of post-college frat party

You think like me. When i was single and looking to meet people i'd just post up at whatever bar was comfortable and my type of crowd and chat with whoever would listen.

I dont live in Fed anymore but i always enjoy stopping by the market to get drinks at anywhere that will serve em. I'd usually chill there and play on my phone and strike convo when it arose.

I like Magerks too. It got pretty active on Friday and Saturday last year around this time.

Banditos and 101 are more "clubish" but i enjoy their music more than the other bars.

Little Havana is a lowkey spot if you just wanna drink and talk to regulars/older crowd (might find yourself a couger)

Brewers Cask and Rowhouse are cool too, i think they're also more of a late 20s early 30s crowd. Rowhouse has good wings...I had an upset stomach from when i ate their seafood though...

Theres some other bars edging on the riverside area too.

I'd suggest joining a cup in hand Volo league, that's how I met a lot of friends when I moved to the city. For bars, like the others mentioned, anyone around cross street. I'd avoid the Charles, feel like it's douche-y but that's just me
