I want to donate hair as per whatever the requirements of the service would be. I will prefer handing in-person to a facility in Baltimore over mailing the hairs but not a big deal.

I think you have to mail it in to an organization that makes the wigs. I don't think hospitals typically make them themselves.

Oncology nurse here. As someone already said, please do not use Locks of Love. They charge patients for wigs and there are plenty of alternatives out there that do not.

Our local salon took care of it when my son had his very long hair cut. I believe it has to be at least a foot long.
