Welcome to Bmore! I'm also a Florida transplant, 37/M from Orlando. i just got back from visiting there. What part of FL are y'all from? Not as many things going on in the winter but lots of fun things to do throughout the city during Spring/Summer months.

Bike party crosses the city and the route changes everytime. It gets from a few dozen to a few hundred people and is a blast. Be on the watch though, some are inexperienced

Why was Tampa "getting insane"? Jc

Just Tampa getting extremely expensive, the just shear amount of people that have moved into the city has almost made getting anywhere at all a freaking multi hour ordeal, also with rent and everything skyrocketing me and my fiancé just decided to buy a house here in Baltimore

Ah, that's fair. Baltimore is one of the few East Coast cities where buying a home remains affordable. My sibling is about to move to St. Pete from NYC and I get the sense that it is an area which is exploding. But on the other hand everything is about perspective... has to be less expensive than NYC.

Ehhhh not exactly at pete is super established and housing there can be insane , iv seen friends rent jump like a grand in 2 years, most to almost all the homes, there are just air b&b’s

I noticed the same thing in Orlando. Most of my friends there have moved to far out suburbs because they can no longer afford living in the city. Not to mention Traffic has picked up substantially there.

It’s nuts, and like no if real structural improvements are being made to compensate for it especially on the roadways
