You don't even need to buy one in the city unless your house is super thick walled, you're super close to towers. You can cut one end off a coax cable, separate the 2 strands, and connect each wire to one end of a coat hanger bent into a U. Have done it before. Literally on my way to do this for a friend with some extra cable I have lying around.

Forget a coat hanger - you can pick up the signal witth a paperclip if you're close enough to the tower.

I'm very glad the towers are central in Baltimore. The last place I lived, the various towers were on opposite sides of the metro area, so I could never get half of the channels, even with a bigger "100 mile" roof mounted antenna.
