Bun Shop, union brewery, and R.house—-always looking for new places tho
CoBalt on 36th street in Hampden. I think their day passes are $20. I’ve gone there whenever there have been power or cable outages in my neighborhood.
I’ve tried working at coffee shops and such, but I’ve found that my productivity takes a hit from the distractions. CoBalt is really quiet and chill. I always get a lot done when I work there.
Mindpub has a great vibe and nice seating esp upstairs.
Second R House
Union Brewery
Whole Foods Towson upstairs lounge
Bun Shop
R House
If its nice out you can try Good Neighbor and sit outside. Inside is fine too but it can get a little noisy.
Pitango
Bun shop, Ceremony coffee, Good Neighbor
Good post. Hoping to go to at home work soon.
The beach.
Waverly library, Artifact, Bun Shop, Pitango, Vent
Whitehall Mill
last time i went to that whole foods it was a MESS.
I'm thinking of the wegman's in reisterstown

Whitehall Mill!
I didn’t realize you could get a day pass there. Thanks!
When the weather was nice I used to like to work near the water at fort mchenry
Ooh, I’ll have to try the Waverly library. I tried JHU’s library but the wifi BLOWS if you’re a guest.
If you have dogs, Bark Social
Love bun shop vibe & they’re open late for night owls
Atwater’s / EJJI Ramen or anywhere in Belvedere Markethas good food and room to spread out.
Ok. Our secret!!

and… have you seen how expensive those inside chairs are?
I find the wi-fi is terrible there :-(
Their wifi is fine, mobile reception is non-existent.
Ministry of brewing lol on a weekday afternoon with all the natural light and still very quiet
Weird follow-up: what is the power outage situation/frequency in Baltimore? Moving to the city (from the countryside) and wondering whether or not to bring my generator. Thanks!!!
Which library did you go to? Eisenhower?
Oh good to know. How is the wifi there?
Yup, Eisenhower.
It's too late. It's packed all the time now. Happy for the businesses. Sad for myself.
If no calls scheduled that day: the library honestly
If you don't have dogs but like them too
Oh I'm glad it's open to the public again
What do you mean by mess?
In the four years I’ve lived here, there has only been one outage long enough to justify a generator (a big storm last summer). Experiences probably vary neighborhood to neighborhood though
Seemed solid. I had no issues any of the times I went.
garbage everywhere, stains and spills all over the floor, carts everywhere, crappy music playing, out of service bathrooms.
Although...now that I think about it, i might be thinking about the Wegmans in Reisterstown, not Towson Whole foods.
In fact, after looking it up - that's definitely what I'm talking about. Edited original comment
Ahhh I was so confused!
haha yeah sorry about that. all fixed!
Oh ok, is there a cafe inside? I don't mind going there at some point but for $20 I need my money's worth.
No, but they do have free coffee. Zeke’s, IIRC.
Also, there are several options for snacks/lunch on that block if you need anything.
Oh so you can leave out and come back in? That's cool. I'm not a coffee drinker at all so Zeke's is no interest to me
Thank you! Good to know.

Sometimes I like to go to R House, but it can be noisy at times so I only do that if I don’t have phone calls to make.
