The first time I read The Martian I wanted at least an epilogue.

Thankfully the movie gave us that, but I still wanted to read more about his recovery in the Hermes, his return to Earth, and what he did with his life after NASA in the book.

They recently re released it with the addition of "Mark's Journals" at the end. Not worth the repurchase cost. A tiny amount of post wrap up, mostly just prequel color.
