Long shot, but I purchasedthis Line-A-Day journal (see link for photos) at a flea market in Sacramento, CA a few years back. I would love to give it to owner’s family, if they’re out there.
The journal appears to be from a woman named Faith Clark who lived in Boston and traveled to Europe in 1921 and 1922. It documents her life from 1920-1924; she was active in the Rotary Club and attended college. She was a frequent traveler to many places on the East coast and seems to have worked in a law office. Pretty badass lady, actually.
Would love any leads; feel free to reach out!
ETA: The genealogy sub really hit it out of the park, thanks for the suggestion! Name was Amy Faith Clark, she graduated from Smith College in 1910 and worked as a social worker. She took over a dozen trips to Europe in her lifetime including one at the start of the First World War. She had one brother who had two children; I’ll be doing some more research to see if there is any surviving family. Thanks, all!
ETA again: Thanks to the genealogy sub recommended here, the journal is on its way to Faith Clark’s grand-niece. It’s over 100 years old and really belongs with the family. Thanks again!
