Looking to go for day drinks today, best recommendations? preferably where we won't need to que for hours to get in! But that may be unavailable for the day that's in it

Shouldn't have an issue with lines during the day but if you are looking to drink in southie I am sure itll start to get packed as the day goes on / folks finish work so go early.
